E-Mail Mocking Obama Is 'Exhibit A' in Wrongful-Firing Suit

"Mr. Snell was terminated for voting for his presidential candidate of choice.

Should we criticize the people criticizing the people supporting President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize?

When I saw that Obama had been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, I thought it was satirical. Honestly. I found out by misclicking on a tab in Firefox and accidentally hitting the RSS feed.

Boostalk: The Next Greatest Rapper ... or maybe not.

Boostalk is his name, and I think that rapping is his game (I honestly need a lyrics sheet for this song, because a bunch of it is nearly incomprehensible to me).

Israeli official: Obama's missile defense move good for us

Thus far, American attempts to stop the development of an Iranian nuclear bomb have not succeeded -- partially because the Russians have not cooperated with their efforts," he explained.

Wilson was wrong: What you're all missing

When Joe Wilson yelled "You Lie" it set in motion an almost orchestrated sidetrack to the debate. Again. But it turns out, people just hear what they want, just like Joe Wilson did on the 10th.

FreedomWorks, a political action group Chaired by Dick Armey, has put up a page in support of Armey's incorrect assumption that an ad comparing Bush to Hitler was used by Moveon.org. Rachel Maddow on "Meet the Press" had tried to correct Armey on air but was not able to do so.

Will Rupert Murdoch Be the Pied Piper of Paid Content?

Quality journalism is not cheap, and an industry that gives away its content is simply cannibalizing its ability to produce good reporting Which would be true if Fox News' website had no ads on it. I see 7 different companies being advertised at the bottom of their page.

Why Liberals should no longer be scared S***less of Palin

If they ever were (they weren't). The latest news on the front of Sarah Palin's political career came as a shock to me. I might not like the lady, but she's charismatic enough to have a bunch of fans. And then in one day she had said "I'm out".

Mark Sanford's wife: "I'm on a boat!"

Jenny Sanford seemed pretty indifferent toward Mark on his recent field trip in this CNN article. It definitely says that she's going to try and save the marriage, but one part of it kind of made me laugh.

My customer service so far with AT&T (A long read)

Now this is in relation to DSL, I've not had too many problems with AT&T wireless (they did want to charge me $1100 because they forgot to give me the data plan for the iPhone, but that was rectified rather quickly).

Does a website's design speak to their aim?

I was checking out CNN and upon seeing the North Korean missile thing going down I figured I'd shop around and see how the other 24 hour news networks' websites would look right now. It's a little bit odd.

The trojan Vista.

Everyone knows the story of the Trojan Horse. The Greeks built a giant horse, hid some dudes in it and said "Here dudes, we made this sweet horse for you!".

The way to stop ambush interviews

I just got it. I saw a joke on Newsvine and I just thought of the best way to stop ambush interviews.

iTunes is going to be DRM-Free, but not free of DRM.

There's been a decent amount of coverage that iTunes is going to have a DRM free music catalog by the end of the 1st quarter of 2009. It's been a long time coming.

Does free will work with religion?

One of the questions I've always had with my religion (at this point a lack of) is that in order for all of this to work out for God free will would have to be non-existent. Here's my case.

What it says to me: Gov. Palin's e-mail hacked.

Mind you this is an IT guy talking, so if I get a little technical, feel free to ask, though that's definintely not the route I'm going for.

Should inaccurate campaign ads have retractions?

There was recently something that came across in regards to the McCain campaign misattributing a quote from FactCheck.org. FactCheck.org actually had a story on that calling what their campaign did saying "McCain-Palin Distorts Our Finding".

CNN's reporting of Hurricane Gustav - It's windy.

Okay, so I just had to say something about this. I know this should not be a funny thing, and the destruction and possible lives lost aren't funny. I'm saying that right up front.

Name on government watch list threatens pilot's career

13 Years in the military and for some reason he's not trustworthy because he converted to Islam after marrying. Something is wrong here.

Atomic Destruction for kids! Buried meaning in a video game.

Very few games touch on adult subjects. I wouldn't even call most of the M rated games "adult" games, most of them thematically aren't that deep. Who would have thought an Xbox Live Arcade game could have more depth than the last 6 or 7 games I've played? That game is Braid.
